Our Services
Sports Chiropractic
A multifaceted approach to healthcare in which we evaluate movement patterns and employ specific techniques such as chiropractic adjustments, muscle/soft tissue work, and/or rehab to help our patients achieve a better quality of life. As goals are continually changing and tissue is healing, we choose the appropriate treatment to decrease symptoms and get you back to activity quickly.
Muscle/Fascial Stretch Therapy
Muscle/fascial stretch therapy focuses on improving the mobility and elasticity of muscles and other various soft tissues throughout the body. We accomplish this by targeting fascial lines that connect and surround the muscles, nerves, organs, and just about everything else in the body.
Traditional Chinese/Sports Cupping
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which glass cups are applied to the skin for several minutes to create suction. Cupping serves a wide variety of purposes, including relieving pain and controlling inflammation, enhancing circulation, promoting relaxation, and improving overall wellness as a type of deep tissue massage.
Scraping Therapy
Scraping therapy is a tool we use to help treat the muscle and fascial layers of the body. It works to correct soft tissue restrictions that cause pain and mobility limitations. The goal is to break down scar tissue, adhesions, and excess muscular tension to optimize movement quality and function.
Dry Needling
Dry needling involves inserting thin, solid filament needles into muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nervous tissues throughout the body. Unlike acupuncture, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine and focuses on energy pathways (meridians), dry needling targets specific myofascial trigger points, which are taut bands within muscles that can cause local or referred pain.
Dynamic Rehabilitation
The nervous and musculoskeletal systems establish programs that control human posture, movement, and gait. We take a dynamic approach to assessing movement and determining which regions and muscles need to be targeted, focusing heavily on stability and intra-abdominal pressure.
