Rehab is when YOU change your body for the better!
What is Dynamic Rehabilitation?
The nervous and musculoskeletal systems establish programs that control human posture, movement, and gait. With a proper evaluation and treatment plan, your body can naturally restore function of the locomotor and associated systems. Dynamic neuromuscular (core) stability is necessary for optimal performance, which is accomplished through precise coordination of muscles and intra‐abdominal pressure, each regulated by the central nervous system (CNS). Strengthening the abdominal muscles alone will not enhance overall core stability. A more dynamic approach that assesses movement to determine where muscles need to be activated, along with a strong emphasis on maintaining intra-abdominal pressure, is key to stabilizing where necessary and optimizing movement of the body.
